Software Engineer, Java (Entry Level)

Position Summary:
Software engineer in a fast-paced environment for a software development company. Design, develop, test, support, and maintain BPM-related software products using the latest Java technologies.

Required Skills:

Software Engineer, Professional Services (Entry Level)

Position Summary: 
The Professional Services Consultant position is responsible for the successful completion of all client implementation activities of the company’s enterprise software solutions.  These implementation project activities include face to face client meetings for requirements analysis and definition, configuration of software, enhancement development, conference room pilots, testing, and go-live support for client.  The consultant works under the direction of a Consulting Manger or Senior Consultant, but may also be required to manage and lead small engagements where pertinent.   
Located in most major US cities.
Requirements:

  • Leads efforts for multiple projects in varying phases of implementation simultaneously
  • Meets directly with client’s business users to identify project objectives and requirements
  • Works within overall project plan and schedule
  • Provides feedback to customers and creates structured documentation, including specifications and weekly status reports
  • Advises client on configuration and implementation options based on best practices
  • Leads the business requirements gathering process for client customizations
  • Participates in customization design sessions with the client and project team
  • Supports installation, customization and solution testing, including preparation of test scenarios.  Oversees client user acceptance testing.
  • Acts as a technical mentor for clients in transferring solution critical knowledge
  • Collaborates with customer team participants
  • Ensures that all implementation methodology deliverables are complete and on-time

A proven record in application development is required along with extensive experience of at least ONE or more of the following OS platforms: Solaris, Linux and NT. The candidate will also have practical experience of Web Servers such as IIS, Apache, Netscape. Database technology such as MS SQL & Oracle is also highly desirable.
A demonstrable knowledge of at least TWO of the following Scripting/Programming paradigms is required: C/C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, ASP, HTML, DHTML, .NET, XML, PHP, COM Objects, CGI.
This is a challenging undertaking that requires a quick learner, able to apply excellent problem solving skills under time pressure. You will get to know the technology inside-out and need to be highly motivated to get the job done to an exemplary standard. It's not a nine-to-five job but it's a role that will keep you interested and can take you all over the country and the world, working with leading companies.

Position Summary:
Sales Engineers work with Sales Account Managers to effectively communicate Company’s capabilities and how they translate to prospective customers’ needs. Web Site Applications Developer

Position Summary:
The Corporate Web Site Applications Developer is responsible for the development, maintenance, support, and enhancement of the corporate web sites, reporting directly to the Senior Director of Marketing Content.  This includes assisting with site architecture and design; component design and development, and web page development.  The requires the use of appropriate coding practice methodologies, troubleshooting software errors, modifying existing code and other activities as required to maintain the corporate websites.
Located in San Jose, CA.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Development and management of corporate sites through company’s flagship WCM product line
  • Develop and maintain the corporate web site and supporting applications for lead management.  This includes but is not limited to coding, software integration, coding/application troubleshooting, testing and implementing secure coding practices.
  • Work with the marketing team to understand and develop project and business priorities. 
  • Stay current on new developments in application coding, secure coding practices and techniques in software application development.
  • Communicate project schedules and work closely with the manager, business users and team members to ensure project awareness and on-time deliverables
  • Perform other related duties as required in a timely fashion

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years professional experience designing and developing enterprise www and intranet infrastructure and lead generating systems
  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience in Java/JSP Programming
  • Minimum of 1 year of Perl, PHP, RSS, video streaming  and other common web elements
  • Minimum of 1 year of web content management system experience in multi-domain environments

Senior Systems Administrator

Position Summary:
The Senior Systems Administrator is responsible for providing hands-on support to our clients in our San Jose facility.  The successful candidate must be a leader who can effectively communicate, document projects, issues, develop action plans and deliver results on time and within budget.  Experience with numerous hardware and software platforms including but not limited to UNIX, VMWARE, Microsoft and Macintosh, Cisco, Juniper, Linux are essential to the success of this position.

Support Experience:

  • UNIX – Must be able to install, test, manage disk storage systems and troubleshoot UNIX system issues.  (Solaris, HP-UX, Linux)
  • Must have experience with disk management products; Netfiler experience is required.
  • Must have direct experience with Microsoft Server Administration including DHCP, WINS, User Add/Delete, printer management, user share management and Active Directory.
  • End User Support – Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair Laptop, Notebook, Desktop, Server and Printer hardware.  Experience with Patchlink or similar patch management product required.
  • Must have direct experience working and managing cable-plant including Fiber and Cat-5 or above.
  • Must have direct experience assisting with the installation and configuration and cabling of Routers, Switches, Hubs and Firewalls.  Must have experience supporting VPN clients.

  • Technical Understanding of network protocols and services including (TCP/IP, FTP, DNS, DHCP, Wins, SAMBA, SMTP, NFS, NIS).  Must have experience troubleshooting LAN, WAN and WLAN issues from a user’s perspective.
  • 3 years Experience with Ghost, VPN Client Software, VMWARE Workstation.
  • 3+ years experience dealing with security issues (malware/virus cleaning, hardware hardening etc.)
