SERC / Government / Industry Workshop
March 31 and April 1, 2009

The Stevens-USC Systems Engineering Research Center (SERC) is holding its first in-depth SERC/Government Industry workshop in Washington, DC, March 31 and April 1. Besides technical feedback on its first two tasks --Systems Engineering Effectiveness Measures and Systems Engineering Methods, Processes, and Tools -- there are two other primary opportunities for the workshop to further. One is to give the interested external participants (and our collaborator organizations) a better idea of the SERC as a UARC and how it can collaborate with government organizations, FFRDCs, industry, professional societies, and industry groups. The other is to obtain inputs from the external organizations on their SE research and technology needs that we can use in evaluating candidate SERC research projects. We hope that you can participate in this initial high-leverage workshop. A rough agenda is below; further information will be updated on the SERC website.
